This free crochet tote bag pattern is perfect for Christmas, baby showers, wedding favors, and more! Small, cute, and easy to make—it’s a fun way to use up leftover yarn and create a handmade gift everyone will love.

Looking for a small, cute, and easy-to-make crochet project that’s perfect for Christmas gifting, baby showers, weddings, or just to hold your favorite herbal scents? You’ll love this free Christmas crochet tote bag pattern! It’s full of lovely little details but simple enough for beginners to enjoy. Plus, it’s a great way to use up leftover yarn and create an adorable, practical, handmade gift that feels extra special.
For my bags, I held two strands of a #1 fine yarn together (because I needed to use it up somehow 😄) and added a gold thread for a little extra sparkle. But feel free to use your favorite #2 sport weight yarn instead.

Be sure to check out my other Christmas gift bag patterns, too—they make an adorable matching set! I made a few, filled them with Christmas-scented herbal sachets, and tucked them into my holiday decor. They look so gorgeous and festive—and they smell amazing too!
