Yarn Needed for Your Crochet Wine Bottle Holder

For the Vineyard Wine Bottle Cozy, I used a #5 bulky yarn to create a sturdy, snug fit for the wine bottle. The color options are endless! You can choose a neutral, earthy tone for a classic look, or go bold with variegated yarn for a fun, eye-catching gift.

If you don’t have bulky yarn, you can still use #4 worsted-weight yarn—just switch to the recommended hook size for that yarn and add a row to the base following the stitch pattern. Then, crochet up to your desired height.

For an extra festive touch, you can attach a Christmas label, a handmade faux leather tag, a festive ribbon, or any holiday picks you have on hand. Your wine bottle cozy will be beautifully dressed up and ready for gifting.
