Why Crochet Your Own Winter Accessories?

Where I live, winter is looong and chilly, so warm hats, scarves, and mittens are a must. But staying warm is just one reason—there are so many benefits to making your own DIY winter accessories.

Handmade Is Better: Nothing beats handmade crochet winter accessories. They are unique, high-quality, and you can customize every detail to fit your style. And if you’re gifting them? Handmade always hits differently.

💰 Affordable & Practical: These easy crochet patterns use small amounts of yarn, making them perfect for stash-busting and super budget-friendly. You can create beautiful winter crochet accessories for a fraction of store prices. They’re also great projects to make and donate to homeless shelters, hospitals, or anyone in need of extra warmth.

Quick Crochet Wins: Small projects like winter crochet hats, scarves, and mittens are fast, fun, and super satisfying. A few cozy evenings with your hook and you’re done! No wonder these are some of the most-crocheted items in the crochet world.

        Enjoy! 🙂

  4. I just tried today’s link and it will not even open up. Not sure what’s happening.

I can’t seem to get the code bundleup26 to work on the Stitchwork Scarf. Today in the 27th. Is that not correct?

    1. Hi! The coupon code is working — it’s BUNDLEUP26 (all capital letters). Copy and paste the code, making sure there’s no space before it. Enter the code where it says “password”, then hit Enter.

      1. girliefriend says:

I was unable to copy from this page, but I did finally get it. I thought I had tried typing all caps before I commented. Guess I was technically challenged.

  12. Charmaine says:

I can’t get past day 20 and it keeps going back to day 1. There are way too many pop ups and ads to actually get into the patterns. It’s just so frustrating to use at this point

    1. Hi Charmaine! I understand how annoying ads and pop-ups can be. Unfortunately, this is how designers are able to offer their patterns for free on their blogs.
You should still be able to access each day’s pattern by following the links provided, even if it takes a bit of scrolling past the ads. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

  13. OK, I’m having trouble with today’s pattern. Day 29 the Trailing Leaves Beanie. When I try to apply the code, which it says here is BUNDLEUP26, Ravelry says the code has expired.

Thank you very much for today’s great pattern. I also really like the other patterns. The advertising doesn’t bother me—I just scroll a little. Best regards!

    1. Thank you so much, Sabine! I’m really glad you’re enjoying the patterns, and I appreciate your kind feedback. 😊

  16. Charmaine Levan says:

I’m soooo frustrated. Every time I try to get a pattern I end up back at day 1 and can only get up to date 20. I can’t get access to the patterns. When I try to use the link it brings me back to the sign up page or something pops up and I lose the pattern. What am I doing wrong? I have lost so many patterns now because of this. Day 18 20 22 23 24 29 30. I don’t want to sound like a nag and I understand the pop ups are necessary to get paid. I just don’t know how to get access to the patterns before I lose my chance to get it for free.

    1. Hi Charmaine,
I’m not sure why you can’t get past day 20, but I’m guessing you’re using your phone. I suggest using your browser instead — the pop-ups and ads won’t take up the whole screen, and you should be able to scroll through the blog and find the featured pattern more easily.
