Step 1- Crochet the coasters

With Yarn A, make a magic ring, then CH1. (You may use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of rounds.)

Rnd 1: 7 PF in the circle, join with a SL ST into the 1^st PF, CH1. (7 PF)

Rnd 2: 2 PF in the join,*skip next PF, 2 PF in next SP (SP between the PF stitches)*, rep *to* around, join with a SL ST into the 1^st PF, CH1. (14 PF)

Rnd 3: 1 PF in the join, *skip next PF, 2 PF in next SP (SP between the PF stitches), skip next PF, 1 PF in next SP (SP between the PF stitches)*, rep *to* around, join with a SL ST into the 1^st PF, CH1. (21 PF)

Rnd 4: *Skip next PF, 6 HDC in next SP (between the PF stitches), skip next PF, SL ST in next SP (between the PF stitches),* rep *to* around, SL ST in the last ST, CH1 with Yarn B, cut Yarn A. Crochet the edging next.

Step 2 – Crochet the edging
