• The cup cozy is crocheted from the bottom up in continuous rounds (spiral).
• The stitch count at the end of each round is provided as the stitch count for that round.
• The pattern is designed for a 16-oz cup. For different cup sizes or yarn weights, create a foundation chain in multiples of 6 + 3 that fits snugly around the bottom of your cup, then crochet to the desired height.
• For a perfect fit—especially if your cup is narrower at the bottom and wider at the top—try the cozy on as you go. If it starts to feel too tight, switch to a larger hook for the rest of the pattern. The cup sleeve should gently hug the shape of your cup from top to bottom.

Crochet the Blossom cup cozy

With a 4.5 mm hook, chain 33 to make a foundation chain, SL ST into the 1st chain to make a circle, SC in the same CH.

Rnd 1: SC in each ST around, do not join. (32 ST). From now on, crochet all rounds continuously. Feel free to use a stitch marker and move it up as you go to mark the beginning of each round.

Rnd 2: Skip the SL ST,*SC in next ST, skip next 2 ST, 5 DC in next ST, skip next 2 ST*, rep *to* around ending with 5 DC in 1st ST, do not join. (6 x 5 DC groups).

Rnd 4-6: Repeat Rnd 3.

Note: Try the cup cozy on your cup as you go. If it starts to feel too tight (this can happen if the cup is wider at the top), switch to a larger hook.

Rnd 7-13 (or the desired height): Repeat Rnd 3, ending last row with *Skip next 2 ST, SC in next ST*.

Rnd 14-15: SC BLO in each ST around. (33 ST) . At the end of the last round, SL ST, fasten off.

You are all done!! All you need to do is weave in all ends and attach a tag.
